A special WRR Event!
As many of you know, we are rapidly coming up on show #100! In fact, we will be recording it next Thursday, October 5th.
For the occasion, the entire WRR team will be on that night. Myself, Todd and Gabe as usual, plus Michael and Robert! It should be a lot of fun!
I will be setting up a live audio chat room that will hold up to 100 listeners for this event! It’s going to be first come, first served.
If you are interested in listening in as we do this, you will need a program called Skype (www.skype.com) and a way to listen. The download is free and it is available for Windows, Mac and Linux.
You don’t even need a microphone for this. Just a set of headphones or speakers to listen in. This will primarily be listen only (since it’s our first time) but if you have a microphone, I have a few ideas for some fun stuff.
If you are interested in listening in, download and install Skype by following the link above. Then, check back next Thursday at 6:00PM PST (02:00 GMT I believe) for details on how to get connected so you can join us.
It should be a lot of fun! If this is something that works well, we might use it more in the future.
Robert’s Soundseeing Tour #12
Robert’s back!. He took a break during MTTS to catch up on his NASCAR races and he returns with a MINI full of his cousins on a rainy night in the ‘hood.
They attack a 40kmp/h onramp at close to 100kmp/h! TWICE! And the lads proceede to take us to task over the Horseshoe wheels and Liquid Yellow, plus take some shots at the GP. Me, I think it’s jealousy. I think they actually get Robert’s MINI airborne too!
If you haven’t listened to any of these yet, this would be a great one to start with!
We go in depth about Automatics.
Torque converter vs. DSG vs. SMG. I think we were pretty thorough and left nary a stone unturned. Of course, you are more than welcome to contribute in the comments below!
Cool stuff for #100/#101 coming up later this week. No trust me. A hint? Well, you might want to have a copy of this handy, you know, just in case. Full details will be posted at the end of the week.
Be sure to check back on Wednesday for Robert’s latest Soundseeing tour! I have a feeling this one is going to be good.

Plus, news of the week. A bit of a new way, let us know what you think.
Why is there an H3 as this shows graphic?
Would you like to be able to have a DVD of our MTTS coverage? All of the audio and possibly some pictures? Let us know in the comments below.
I am working up something VERY cool for Woof99/Woof100! Keep an eye out here for details by the end of the week!
Now we’re talking! – updated
Earlier this morning we were at #4.
Now we are at #3! That is much better! Thanks everyone!!!
That’s more like it! Thanks everyone for listening and subscribing! We do appreciate it.
Updates and changes. Gabe explains the changes at Motoringfile and does a mini-review of a BMW he test drove. Todd does go on and on AND on about the JCW and his GP (again), then tells me not only that I can’t handle a JCW, but then caps on the Cooper a bit (again). Let him have it gang! He was warned.
Don’t worry, MINI stuff coming next week!
Gabe admits his fascination with Smokey and the Bandit on the shores of Lake Michigan, Todd still hates MC’s, we discuss the numerous benefits of log and DB goes on, again, about the cement truck blown up by The Mythbusters. Oh yea, plus news of the week.
Ok, you decide. Which is better?
