MINI United Interview #2
Shawn Ticehurts took some time out with us again this morning for a more detailed update of the goings on at MINI United 2007. Only 3 more weeks gang!
He fills us in on what’s going on during the event including most of the live entertainment, the track schedule and beach activities! Plus, a few surprises. Of course he couldn’t let us know about those. They wouldn’t be much of surprise if he did.
MINI United is being held in Amsterdam, Netherlands at Zandvoort Raceway, June 22-24 2007. If you are in the US and are interested in going, click over to MINIUSA.com for details.
To stay up-to-date with all that is going on with MINI United 2007, be sure to check out the news page at MINIUnited.com. Also, there is the brand-spankin’ new MINI United blog that Gabe and I will be posting to. Ok, mostly Gabe, but I’ll spell check. You can check that out at blog.miniunited.com. There is also the Flickr group and of course we’ll be posting audio, video and reports here and at Motoringfile.

Robert’s Soundseeing Tour #18
Robert has really out done himself this time and think you all will be very pleased!
Robert says.
I spent part of Saturday at a track 200 kms from Toronto (www.shannonville.com). We met racers from Toronto and Montreal. Yesterday was MINImeet.ca reunion day.
I recorded amazing sound from the track. Before the rides, in the car (with a pro who talks through the whole track, MINI engine screaming), and after the rides with some of the hobbyist drivers, a passenger and a newbie. And all the while cars are whizzing by in the background.
This was great fun and I hope you all enjoy it!
Don’t forget, Robert is a podcasting machine! You can check him out at the Mobile Movie Minute and his Business Cast. Both are great!

White Roof Radio Live!
Come check out White Rood Radio as it happens. We’re doing two shows tonight that are being broadcast live courtesy of ustream.tv. And not only can you see us do the show, but you can ask questions in the comment section of this post. During our second show (generally in the 2nd hour of recording) we’ll be reading those questions and answering them live.
Since this is video, we are doing everything over at Motoringfile. Follow the link below to leave comments and for the link to the video.
Woofcast #160
Another live show, courtesy of ustream.tv.
We gave Todd the night off so he could work on getting his house ready to sell. I would also like to start by apologizing for the audio quality. I just couldn’t get the levels right. It will be better next week!
WRR is now on Facebook for those of you that play there. You can check out the WRR Group here.
We do spend some time talking about Gabe’s spec and the parting out of his R53. He is going to be selling his leather dash too, but you have to be local to Chicago or not mind the drive. If you are interested, leave a note below.
And we talked again about buying a used MINI and what to watch out for a little bit. Gabe and I are still working on the R50/R53 buyers guide and should have it done before we head to MINI United. This is something we talked about before way back on Woof 26. We do a little mind changing this time around, especially when buying an early build car, but only if you can get a warranty from the dealer.
If any of you out there Dark Silver owners have put an Aero kit on your MINI and you still have the original front and rear bumpers, Brian Black is in need of them. Or, if your dealer has a set that they would be willing to donate, again, leave a note below.
Finally, for those of you that missed it, we did broadcast the show live via ustream.tv with both audio and video! It was actually so cool that we will be doing that again this week. Check back on Thursday between 9:00 EST / 6:00PM PST and 11:00 EST / 8:00PM PST. The video is quite good and so is the audio. In fact, if you only wanted to listen live this is the best option I have come across yet. We’ll be able to answer your questions live as well. See you Thursday!

News of the week from Motoringfile.com with db and Gabe. Todd was busy with house stuff this week, so we let him have the night off.

And, yes, I am well of aware of any weird audio quality issues that you might be wanting to mention below. I had more than a little difficulty with my recording setup. I have paid proper homage to the audio recording gods (and ran through some testing with my setup again) to make sure that it doesn’t happen again, I hope.

Mobile Gadget Review #5
This time, it Michael Babishkin from the Mail Buoy Podcast and myself reviewing the Palm Treo 750. The phone Michael reviewed was a for Cingular only.
You can read more about this phone at the Palm site, as well as at cnet.com.
Of course, any further questions about this phone for Michael can be left in the comment section below. Both myself and Michael will be keeping an eye on it.
Thanks again to Michael for helping us out this time! Don’t forget, you can catch both he and his lovely wife Patricia (not Pat…trust me on this one) at their cruise site, Mycruiseplanner.net, where the post the latest cruise news and even have a podcast where they cover some great stuff about cruising in general. Oh yea, they book cruises too, so keep them in mind if that’s what you are planning on doing any time soon.

New place to find WRR
Sure we have a MySpace page. Ok, you can find us over at Digg.com too. Heck, WRR is all over the place!
But, you might be asking yourself, what about Facebook db? Why isn’t WRR over there?
