It’s a great conversation about a car we don’t yet get but everyone (it would appear) wants. Hopefully they will have it in LA for us to check out.

You might be asking yourself that very same question. As it turns out, the connectivity problems Todd experienced last week continued on to the weekend for him and his neighbors. They are sending the big truck out soon to get him squared away. In the meantime, I think he’s going to do some wardriving to find an open WiFi (or hit up Panera for lunch) and get it uploaded. Should be ready later today.
On another note, new Soundseeing Tour by Robert is done and will be getting posted today or tomorrow. It’s pretty awesome, so watch for that.
And, on yet another note, I’m starting a new show with Fireball Tim this week. First episode should be going up tonight, but you are going to have to hunt it down to find it. At least until we do 3 or 4 of them.

For a while now, Todd and I have been looking for a place where we could post our thoughts and or opinions about things we see or read at Motoringfile, other blogs or message boards. Stuff that might not be entirely appropriate for MF or even dbmini (even though I have used dbmini for that purpose).
So, I have created a new section here at WRR called OP/ED for those things.
It should be interesting to see what we do with it. Stay subscribed in your news readers too. I’ve changed the feed a bit to make sure all posts come through, but shortly I will, as I have mentioned in the past, set up a feed for the show and 1 for everything else.
Looking for Woofcast #258, right? Yea, well, here’s the thing. It’s truly a wonder we were able to get #257 done due to all manner of fire hoop jumping and alligator wrestling Todd and I had to go through last week.
It’s not like we didn’t try. Ok, we really didn’t. Ended up with about 5 or 6 minutes of something, maybe. So, instead of that dribble, I would like to take a moment and suggest a trip through the archives.

Who knew that Gabe could snap like Bozo the Clown? Once that was discovered, Gabe chatted a bit about the upcoming 1 Series (who knew it would be so heavy?) Then we spent some time talking about Porches (who knew the 914 was so small?) which then turned us a little bit toward Volkswagon (who knew the Thing was so cool?).
Then, a bit of listener feedback. Voicemails from MINI United (who knew db could not really remember the girls in the windows?) and 1 from Ian about automatic transmissions (who knew we could still be talking about this?).
