Woofcast #300
We start out with news from MotoringFile like we like to do, break into a few voicemails (Thanks Drill and Jonathan!) and finish with some great talk about the R60 and upcoming MINI Coupe with Gabe. All recorded live with over 150 listeners! We also spend time time talking about tires, Top Gear and MINIs in the Mountains.
This episode marks the 300th episode of The World Famous White Roof Radio! And, this coming Saturday, August 1st marks our fourth year! Besides the 300 episodes of White Roof Radio, we’ve put up over 200 other episodes recorded in England, Amsterdam, Las Vegas and all over the United States and Canada (thanks Robert!). Thanks to everyone for sticking with us for this long.

Time to Celebrate!
A quick look at the calendar is showing me some very interesting things. First, WRR turns 4 years old August 1st. For kicks, you should go back and listen to Woofcast 1.
Secondly, we are going to be recording Woofcast 300 just weeks from our birthday! So, lets make a big deal out of it.
We let our schedules get ahead of ourselves this week (again) but that is giving us a bit more time to make sure we are ready for Woof 300 next week, that we will be recording live starting at 7:00pm Pacific (do the math for your time zone). So, mark those calendars now!
Want to help add something to our 300th? Call into the Voicemail line at 206-202-3252 before next Wednesday, July 22nd, and we will probably get it into the show.

BimmerFile Podcast #1
We have a brand new podcast for you if you are interested in BMWs. Gabe and Michael have started the BimmerFile Podcast. I’m only including this one in the WRR feed to get the word out. It will have it’s own iTunes page by the end of the week.
BimmerFile’s first podcast is here. With over four years of experience with Whiteroofradio and other audio on MotoringFile we finally decided to create a BimmerFile version. In this first show Michael, (Todd and DB of Whiteroofradio fame) and I talk about the X6 M and the recent press launch of the car. Fresh from time on the track with the 5000 lbs + beast Michael has a ton of insights in the new SAV. We also spend some time on the new 550 GT and the Z4 that just left the BimmerFile garage. The beginning is a little rough. But what do you expect, we only have 299 to go to catch-up to our MINI podcast.

Woofcast #299
A pretty good show for all y’all this week as we rapidly approach Woofcast 300 next week! Gabe actually joined Todd and I this week with his take on the news from the last few weeks. Also joining us tonight was Michael from BimmerFile and he added his own unique take on what’s happening in the MINI world.
Micheal joins us this evening because we recorded Episode #1 of the brand new BimmerFile podcast! It will be going up Tuesday and should be available in iTunes later in the week. If you are subscribed via iTunes to WRR, you will get this episode, but the rest of them you will have to subscribe too.

Technical Difficulty (again)
I am sorry to report that, as I write this, that is exactly what Todd’s recording rig looks like. Ok, probably without the fire. And, maybe not so much with the sad face in neon. But, if you ask Todd, he’ll tell you that’s exactly what it looks like.
So, between the holiday here in the United States and this latest technical hiccup, we won’t be able to provide you with Woofcast #299 this week.
