WRR Archives: WRR Interviewed for the Tech Lounge
Way back in 2006 we were interviewed by Brad Day for a piece he wrote about podcasting on a website that has since gone out of business. Luckily, the interview still remains and we think all y’all might get a bit of a kick out of it. Todd and Chad are heading to the Dragon, along with many of you, this week. Keep an eye out for some cool stuff from them later!
Brad Day, Senior Editor from The Tech Lounge.com spent about an hour with us last week doing an interview for their technology site.
You can read the interview text here.
While not too MINI related, you will get an idea of what happens behind the scenes, plus our thoughts on podcasting in general and what the future holds.
Of course, if you are looking for tech reviews and other technology related news, check out thetechlounge.com. It’s independant and the writing is top notch!
423 for the 23rd. And start things off trying to figure out exactly what Pilates really is. Just us trying to fill some time before rolling into news from MotoringFile and Ask Chad questions before everyone heads off to the Dragon.
Speaking of which, it’s the busy season here at White Roof Radio and Motoringfile. With the Dragon followed immediately by MINI United, our regularly scheduled program won’t be very regular. We’ll be sharing from the Dragon and from MINI United instead. Stick around if you can’t attend these events, we’ve got your back!
On time and under budget, just the way we like it! News from Motoringfile.com like we like to do followed by another epic Ask Chad session! And a few updates to goings on around the MINI Event space. Good stuff abounds, check it out!
Speaking of Ask Chad, we have a few questions still in the queue but should be getting those answered during the next few shows. Keep those questions coming in. Same with the comments and feed back, we get it all!
MTTS 2012 Update
Todd and I had the opportunity to speak with Caryn Grun, MINI Events Manager for MINI USA along with Michael Johnston, a Para-Triathlon athlete competing in the 2016 Para Olympics, live from the New York Auto Show. Details like an update to the route through Colorado and conformation that there will be an autoX component at 3 stops during MINI Takes the States. We also found out where MTTS will be kicking off from; MINI USA Headquarters in New Jersey!
Registration opens tomorrow at minitakesthestates.com. Make sure to get yourself registered and keep yourself tuned in to White Roof Radio and Motoringfile for all of your MTTS details as they become available!
We are seeing requests for more information to help with planning your time with MTTS. We have a route and dates. What more are you looking for? Let us know in the comments and we’ll do our best to find out.
Go Forth. Go West. Go MINI
MTTS Update 04/04/12:
Oddly shaped show tonight. Starting with news from MotoringFile.com and ending with an interview with Kellen from Craven Speed about the electric MINI project they have been working on. And, finally, our first Truck Nutz reference for 2012. Way to go Gabe.
