JCW GP Ordering Information
We have spent so much time actually discussing the new JCW GP, we figured it would be a great idea to pass along the information needed to actually order one! Here is what you need, direct from the MINIUSA Facebook page.
The limited edition MINI John Cooper Works GP is an uncompromising performance machine that hits 60 MPH from a standstill in 5.9 seconds. With only 500 or so coming to the U.S. you’ll have to move fast if you’re interested. GP fast.
To speak to a MINI representative and reserve a 2013 MINI John Cooper Works GP of your own, call: 1-800-610-5269
Who out there is ordering one? Have you heard anything about the delivery yet? Sound off in the comments below or leave a note on the WRR Facebook page!
From The Archives: Woofcast #3
In order to celebrate the Thanksgiving Holiday in the US, I gave everyone the week off like I like to do. As treat to you, the fine and good looking White Roof Radio listener, I’m using the way-back machine to offer up this fine piece of White Roof Radio history; Woofcast 3.
We FINALLY managed to get this one in the can. Talking about track days: What to expect and how best to prepare:
- Be relaxed
- Have fun!
- Listen to the instructors
- Oversteer vs. Understeer and how to prevent them
- Tech. CHECK YOUR LUG NUTS!
- Mods db would do before going out on the track
- It’s not racing!
- Updates and what’s coming up next week
Runs a bit long at 47:39, but we think there is a lot of really good information there.
Talk about a lucky night! Gabe was able to join us after his rock star, 1st class trip to Spain. No real reason for him to be there except to drive the new JCW GP and Paceman. You’ve read the reviews on Motoringfile. This is better. Trust me.
A quick programing note. As you know, we normally record the show on Thursday night. This coming Thursday we will not be recording a show so that we can enjoy the Thanksgiving holiday with our friends and family. Here in the states, we have to carb up before we hit Walmart on Friday (seriously, it’s nuts and we need the strength). For our friends in the States, have a great Thanksgiving. To everyone else, happy Thursday! We will return on December 3rd with Woofcast 447.
2nd Thursday Woofcast. db, Todd, Chad and Nathaniel, gathered and ready to record. G+ Hangout, check. Fresh drinks all around. Check. Chat room setup for live show. Check. And that, my friends, is all they wrote. While the server was recovering, we did manage to talk about news from MotoringFile.com and even knocked out a few Ask Chad questions, including a couple that were left before you guys turned the WRR into a mushroom cloud.
Not complaining. Not even a little bit. This, as they say, is a pretty ok problem to have. Thanks for sticking with us!
Paceman and ’13 Countyman details take up most of our time tonight. So much that we had to skip AskChad this week. We are curious about your thoughts on many things, so sound off in the comments!
Reminder: November 8th is the 2nd Thursday, that means White Roof Radio will be live starting at 9:00p CST. Join us!
It’s Really F*&*^ Fast!
The lastest JCW GP video, this time the Passenger Test. Don’t lie, who’s buying one? Sound off in the comments below!
