A MINI Vacation in Vegas X update
A MINI Vacation in Vegas (AMVIV) is one of our favorite events of the year, and for good reason. Good friends, cool MINIs and, of course, VEGAS! We new this years event would be off the hook this time around and have been waiting for, begging for, any information that would could get. Here it is.
AMVIV X is happening this year from May 15th – May 19th. The board voted unanimous on the venue too, kicking it up about 1,000 notches! We are heading out to Red Rock Resort and Spa! 4 star resort with everything you could need or want including restaurants and bars, but also complete spa services, a gym, bowling, a movie theater and kids club!
I was told there is going to be 2 parties that will put all other parties to shame. Plus a car show and a few other still-working-out-details things that we’ll be sharing later. Plus, WRR will be there, hopefully in full force!
Registration and room rates information will be available very soon. Stay tuned!
A MINI Vacation in Vegas #9 – The Photos
Another AMVIV is in the books and it was pretty amazing as it usually is! Todd and I, along with Nathaniel, even managed to record some interviews and other great things for White Roof Radio that I can’t wait for you to hear! You can also expect our full recap during Woofcast 428.
Overall it was a fantastic weekend! All of our friends were there and we managed to make some new ones. Sure attendance was down to prior years, but the people I wanted to see and hang out with were there, and that’s what makes AMVIV so great.
More to follow. Stay tuned!
In case you missed it, AMVIV starts this week! We give you a complete preview of what’s happening at this year’s event after I school Todd on desert weather (it’s going to be nice, really!) and we help you out when it comes time to purchase previously owned MINI with help of the MotoringFile.com R50/R53 Buyers Guide and our man Chad Miller.
Oh, and db is riding the dunk tank at AMVIV. I expect a lot of you to come by! It’s for a good cause, after all.
White Roof Radio, Live from AMVIV!
The ‘Triple Three’ will be available shortly. While you wait, why not have a look at what the boys did at AMVIV a few weekends ago. A little something we like to call White Roof Radio Live!
It’s event central here at WRR! We have a great interview with our friend Gina Koutros from MINI USA. There is a little thing coming up this summer called MTTS in case you haven’t heard. Thanks to Gina for taking time out of her busy schedule for us, and you. Plus, we are on Dragon Watch! If you are going, you better make sure you are signed up! MINIsontheDragon.com is where you want to point your browser for the most up-to-date information.
Finally, we wrap up of AMVIV. Lots of great show here for you once again. And, as always, free of charge.
Watch for a few changes coming down the pipe. You iPhone and iPad owners should now be able to easily play the show directly from this page if you so choose. A little more testing is happening this week and then you can expect to see those changes at MF and Bimmerfile.com as well.
AMVIV: WRR Live
Another AMVIV is on the books. From what I could tell, everyone had a great time! The highlight of the weekend was a little something we called White Roof Radio Live. I’m going to have a short version for you later in the week but wanted to share with you the intro now.
