Another rousing episode of White Roof Radio mostly revolving around the photo above. Good stuff, you should like it! If you are looking for Ask Chad, we ran late this so we did it as a stand-alone episode that you can download when you like. And, for the record, Nathaniel likes the Countryman. here’s proof.
Bench + JCW Countryman
Todd and Axel actually drove it. And yes, it really sounds like this. Check out Woofcast 430 for the details and sound samples.
Your Summer Reminder
Check your oil!
I’m a big fan of taking care of my cars. They cost a lot of money to purchase and a lot to repair. As a bonus, I’m a frugal guy, which means I like to do what I can, when I can. Things like, oh, I don’t know, checking my oil.
Oh, you say you don’t have a 2002-2006 MINI Cooper? You have an R55/56/60? (Read on…)
WRC MINI vs. Skeleton Bob
I posted this to my blog yesterday, thought all y’all might enjoy watching it while you wait for Woofcast 384 to come around later today.
Todd at SEMA, Gabe on the show
and some great ask chad questions. Ask Chad will be back for Woofcast 358. We went a little long this week talking about the Countryman (again) and bashing GM (again) and a few other things (again).
While at SEMA, Todd get the chance to interview a couple of companies doing cool things for MINIs. One of them is Delucci Motor. Website isn’t ready yet, but there is a phone number and email address if you want to contact them further.
And, if you are in SoCal, don’t forget the Bootgate Party tomorrow afternoon!
It capitalized Motoringfile.com last week. It was the target of hate and anger for the better part of 2 years. It is, the MINI Cooper Countryman!
We couldn’t get Gabe on this week to actually give us his thoughts about this MINI, but Todd, Chad and I do our best to give you ours. I think the consensus is that we all like this car and would love to have one in our driveway, but with a few caveats that you will have to listen for in the show.
Did you hear? AMVIV is just around the corner and registration is open! Go get yourself on the list for what is shaping up to be the best AMVIV yet. We will be talking to WRR Listener Andrew ‘Agro’ Ross and Mr. Finn soon with all the details about this event that you are not going to want to miss, quite possibly because of something very cool that we might or might not be planning, maybe.
Finally, if you are in Southern California, mark February 27th down on your calendar to head over to MINI of Ontario for a blood drive between 10a – 3p. BBQ lunch for all that donate, live music, Wii games, air hockey and lots of cool MINI Stuff! And don’t forget, if you are looking for a free oil change for your MINI, they have your covered!
Hey guess what gang? You do get one more show this year to close out 2009. Turns out some pretty exiting news hit MotoringFile.com last week so the 3 of us got together to talk about just that. That’s right, three of us tonight, just like the old days.
We all hope that all y’all have a great holiday and New Year!
