The Monday Show

You might have noticed that there wasn’t a Monday show this week. To be honest, we didn’t have anything to talk about so I was going to post a repeat of one of our very first shows.

Then my internet got turned off.

So, no Monday show this week. Apologies for posting this so late in the week.

  1. If you’re looking for topics to cover, you should poll your audience for ideas.

    I’ll start:

    Topic 1: Megan Fox

Topic 2: Roadside Help Tips – I bet there are tons of folks out there who might not know how to deal with flats or jump starting their cars. Nice little step-by-steps or some inside tips to some of the MINI’s quirks would be cool.

I know my R50 has a spare, but I think it requires a special tool to dismount it (I’ll have to refer to the owner’s manual).

Some folks jump start using the battery terminals. I think the manual says something about grounding the negative to the frame? Also, as many jump starts that I’ve done, I never remember what order to attach my cables.

How about the steps you need to reset the MINI’s milage countdown? Or how to reset the tire monitor? I know these things are in the owner’s manual, but I’m sure there are folks out there who haven’t bothered to read it.

Topic 3: What you drove before the MINI and what made you decide to go with the MINI?

    Topic 4: Jessica Biel

  2. Awhile back I think I remember Todd talking about doing a show on how best to extend the life of your clutch. Not a bad topic I think… oh and I have to agree with the Megan Fox one as well.

  3. How about the proper care and feeding of a Mini. DB has almost 200k miles on his so he must be doing something right. Topics could touch on preventative maintenance, the right/wrong fluids & lubricants (for the Mini).
