Again live via uStream.tv. The show you missed was the show between shows. A few stories about what happened in Amsterdam (by the way, it’s going to stay there too) among other things. You could call it a bit of black roof radio. Sorry you missed it ;).

Upcoming events you might be interested in. MINIs in the Mountains is happening this coming weekend if you are near Denver. Also coming up soon is the Rolex Vintage Festival at Lime Rock Raceway 31 Aug-3 Sept. The good guys and gals at NYC MINI are tying to get something going that will be very cool and very MINI related. Hit ’em up for details!

Besides that, we spend some more time, for Todds benefit, discussing the Clubman, especially since we got all the new pictures and video last week.

The live show worked very well this week and I’m fairly certain that we will do it again. We are going to try to come up a regular schedule for doing the live shows. Until then, be sure to keep an eye on Motoringfile and Whiteroofradio as we will announce it usually the morning of.

  1. FYI…The fire apparatus where there is a rear driver is not a fire engine, it is a fire truck. The person that drives the back is called the Tillerman. Fire engines carry hose and water, Fire trucks carry ladders and equipment. I spent 34 years as a fireman.

    By the way, a Clubman with a tiller would be SWEET

  2. The “bright white” discussed at the end of this show is the White Silver for the 2008 cabrio. It was announced by MINI UK as an exclusive color for the Sidewalk edition. I doubt it will be offered for other models yet as it is probably meant to help sales of the R52 in its final year.

  3. Welcome back Todd! Glad the move is finished. Good to have the trio back together. Gotta catch one of the video shows some day

    I wish MINI offered a pure white (non metalic) or even a pearl white (metalic) as choices along with pepper white. I also wish that they would bring back the silver as a contrasting roof color.

    Do you have a picture of the black Mini with the roof cargo rack you mentioned toward the end of the show? Sounds pretty cool.
