1. I’m with Gabe on the BMW 2002 tii (which I recently learned stands for touring international injection).

   Give me one of those fully restored and that is my all-around dream car.

2. Gabe…..you got me all excited…you were so close to comitting to the Bugatti Veyron….and then I lost you……

3. I don’t know if I can realistically drop 2mil on a car and still feel good about myself. Unless I had another 2mil to give away to a charity. Maybe that would make it right 🙂

   The other issue is how are you going to go to the grocery store in that car and not look like a tool?

4. Waaaaay to much BMW in the list of dream cars in my opinion, however I do agree with Todd’s Aston Martin choice. When I was in Monterey the wife and I walked by a yellow Enzo on Cannery row. Although I am not a Ferrari guy, you couldn’t help but just be mesmerized by this car, it was incredible.

5. If I could somehow be one of the less than 50 people “chosen” to buy the Bugatti, I would get it, drive it 256mph on a track, sell it for double the price on eBay, and then buy a 2 million 1961 Ferarri 250 GT SWB Berlinetta. Talk about a car with character. I know its not a supercar, but I’d rather have that than a Pagani Zonda…!

6. Less in the dream car range, but a car I might have if there were no MINIs on the market…the Nissan 350Z. I think that is a GORGEOUS car. Love the lines, and it comes in a REAL bright orange.
   The other car I was thinking about if BMW had messed up the MINI (remembering that I leanred to drive on a Mini) was an Imprezza WRX. My wife drives a Legacy Outback sedan and it has been bulletproof over 7 years. And Imprezzas have that rally heritage…

7. Hats off to Todd for going for the less obvious choices (Scion xB, Saturn Sky, Mazda CX7). I agree that all 3 are desirable in their own way, especially the Sky. I swore I would never buy an American car after the rolling disasters my parents owned in the 1980’s, but that Saturn may make me change my ways.

   If the there was no limit on price, you can’t beat a 12 cylinder Ferrari…from any year.

8. 911 GT3 easy. 415 hp and 300 lb ft out of a NA 3.6 for $106k, sweet.

10. Haven’t listened to the episode yet (blasphemy, I know, but it’s being saved for the 1,000 mile trek to NH), but I thought I’d chime in with my Ultimate (price-no-object) List:

    * Arial Atom, fully decked out with the blown motor (corners)
    * ’55 Chevy Nomad (style and utility)
    * Ferrari 308 GTS (for when I’m in a Magnum P.I. kind of mood)
    * Ducati Monster Dark (playing the part of expendable, yet stylish, henchman)
    * E46 M3 (posing)
    * MCS (embarrassing the E46 M3)

    Someday I’ll win the lottery, but first I’ve gotta start playing.

    Here’s the problem… the $100,000 limit 🙂 If the limit was 107,000 then yes I’d take a GT3 as well (in white please).

12. HA! Clearly Gabe DID remove his headphones during Todd’s teen tales. Pretty impressive survivor’s story there Gabe, you should of heard it.

13. If there had been no MINI I would have a 2006 Eclipse Spyder. The Eclipse was what I was going to test drive when I stopped at the MINI dealer. Needless to say I never made it to the Mitsubishi lot. If price were no object I would have to go with Todd – I love the DB9. I think it is one of the most beautiful cars in the world.

    Whoa baby. Gabe, I amend that email I sent you on my car choices. I’m now seriously jonesing for one of these to join my JCW in the garage (can’t quite say to replace it):

    Made in the USA and to be offered with a 338bhp twin-turbo straight six (M car version) with DSG or 6spd and priced close to the MINI. They are even suggesting they will offer a diesel. 0-60 in 5 seconds & a governed 155mph top speed.

    Now I only have to wait until 2009-2010.

15. Oh, and to cure my American muscle car jones, add either a 66 or 67 Chevy II with the 327ci/350hp Vette mill or just about any big block 69 Camaro/66-70 Chevelle (Yenko/COPO/ZL1 427 preffered).

16. My Choices would be: (if no Mini)

    Under $50,000. – 2006 Dodge Charger Daytona R/T – with Hemi V8 – 5.7L 350hp with options (in GoMan Go color) -$38,000

    Under $100,000. – Porsche Cayman S 295hp, 0-60 -5.8sec – with options – $88,000.

    No Limits – Aston Martin Vanquish S. 520bph, 425lbft torque, 0-62 in 4.8 sec.

17. under $100k, lotus exige plus that 340r kit that had a little blurb in the european car magazine. So about $56k for the car and another $43k for the kit for the 340hp. Even without the kit it would be sweet, but a little harsh for the street. My other choice would be an e30 M3.

    A 911 turbo would probably be more appropriate for the street because the torgue-460 lb-ft from 1950-5000rpm but for $122k.

18. To replace the MINI:
