More GP talk. A full recap of the car, Todd talks about ordering his and what Gabe and db would do if they were ordering one. We never could get him to tell us what color he is getting though and we even asked twice. Is the GP the Mona Lisa?
We will continue with our regularly scheduled programming next week.

So…I have an idea…since you guys can’t stop talking about the GP, to offset the cost of the car, Todd can charge a fee for non-GP owners to get behind the wheel and take a short drive in a closely monitored setting.
That way, you can keep your current MINI! Run it by the wife.

Todd: Install the Aero Grill and paint it Mirror Cap Red. Or give your GP a Canadian Roof Flag. That’s red.

I think you should do a checkered roof, leaving the original color and then doing squares of red. Of course leaving out a space for the car number to show thru.

You guys were talking about the Rear Seat Delete option. I found this cool mod on one of the mini forums (I forget which one) http://www.rearseatdelete.com/mini.html. Also the website answers Gabe’s question about the weight reduction of removing the rear seats (36 pounds).

BTW Gabe I read in a Road and Track that the Hummer H3 has 50/50 weight Distro haha.
DB, I envy you so much for going for the GP. I want one! If I could afford to change to a new car I would get it.

Wow. I would too, you know, if I were actually getting the GP ;). That would be Todd getting the GP, not me

I like the GP wheels … and I think you’re right - if you do modify the GP, you need to do it in such a way that you can return it to the original specs.

Leave the wheels on Todd!
Like the idea of red chequered roof.
