For the occasion, the entire WRR team will be on that night. Myself, Todd and Gabe as usual, plus Michael and Robert! It should be a lot of fun!
I will be setting up a live audio chat room that will hold up to 100 listeners for this event! It’s going to be first come, first served.
If you are interested in listening in as we do this, you will need a program called Skype (www.skype.com) and a way to listen. The download is free and it is available for Windows, Mac and Linux.
You don’t even need a microphone for this. Just a set of headphones or speakers to listen in. This will primarily be listen only (since it’s our first time) but if you have a microphone, I have a few ideas for some fun stuff.
If you are interested in listening in, download and install Skype by following the link above. Then, check back next Thursday at 6:00PM PST (02:00 GMT I believe) for details on how to get connected so you can join us.
It should be a lot of fun! If this is something that works well, we might use it more in the future.

This sounds so cool I may have to skip out on my quantitative business analysis class!!!!
I am not 100% sure, but 6:00PM PST would be 3:00PM EST. Currently there is only a 3 hr differance from coast to coast.

San Jose State temporarily banned the use of Skype while on campus. That did not extend to off camping housing or dorms.
I understand that some of the engineers from eBay visited the campus to help them better control access, while still allowing Skype to be used.

I hear ya and wish there was some way for us to do this at a time non-US listeners could join us more easily.
We all have jobs during the day, so that rules that out and keeping the lads up past midnight (for an early morning GMT show) is pretty tough to do as well, especially on a school night.
