There you have it, further proof that an FM modulator is not a good way to hook up an iPod to your MINI.

I’ll second that. Terrible. Awful. Beyond crappy. I was sooooo glad when I found out my MINI was going to be able to be accessorized with an AUX input.

I had to unscrew the antenea off my car so that I wouldn’t get so much static. learned my lesson. I definitely do not recommend them if you like clarity. I have the AUX input with the Belkin Auto Kit and I couldn’t be happier.
